Dr. Manan Shah has practiced Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery for the past eight years. He completed his residency training at the University of Connecticut where he developed an interest in endoscopic sinus surgery for nasal, sinus and allergy issues, as well as endoscopic ear surgery, a cutting-edge, minimally-invasive technique which leads to improved outcomes and faster recovery after ear surgery. Furthermore, Dr. Shah is one of the only surgeons in the area with training in endoscopic ear surgery, making him an invaluable addition to the Colorado Ear, Nose and Throat Group as well as an invaluable resource to patients with disorders of the ear.
In addition, Dr. Shah provides comprehensive care for all Ear, Nose & Throat issues including sinus and allergy care, balance disorders, voice and throat issues, head and neck cancers, and pediatric otolaryngology. He additionally specializes in in-office sinus procedures – reducing patient downtime and costs traditionally associated with sinus surgery.
Dr. Shah serves as President of the Colorado Ear Nose and Throat Society as well as a leading member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. He is also a nationally recognized expert in telemedicine and has continually worked to make care for patients more accessible and convenient.
He lives in the Denver metro area with his wife and three young children. In his free time, he enjoys exploring the mountains on rock-climbing expeditions and going on hikes with his family.
Dr. Maheep Sohal is the most recent addition to the Colorado Ear, Nose and Throat Group. Dr. Sohal completed his residency training at University of Connecticut and then completed a fellowship in the highly specialized field of Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery at University of Arizona. He has been practicing Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery for the past eight years, having practiced in Tucson, Arizona prior to relocating to Denver.
In addition to managing complex sinus and skull base disorders, Dr. Sohal takes pride in being able to offer his patients’ comprehensive care for all Ear, Nose & Throat disorders including hearing and balance issues, voice and throat issues, head and neck cancers, and pediatric otolaryngology.
Furthermore, with his fellowship training, he brings to our practice the most advanced surgical and non-surgical options to manage both straightforward and complex sinus disease. Dr. Sohal also collaborates with Neurosurgery and Ophthalmology to utilize minimally invasive techniques to treat diseases of the skull base and orbit. He has authored over a dozen research papers as well as several chapters in key medical textbooks.
Dr. Sohal is thrilled to join the Colorado Ear, Nose & Throat Group. In his free time, he enjoys exploring everything Denver has to offer from the natural beauty of the mountains to the areas many delicious restaurants.
Dr. Isabel Fairmont is the newest addition to the Colorado Ear, Nose and Throat Group. Dr. Fairmont completed her undergraduate education in Biology at the College of Charleston, where she also competed in Division I NCAA Track & Field. She went on to work for a non-profit organization supporting patients with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) prior to completing a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences at Tufts University in Boston, MA. She received her medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina where she was also inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and chosen to serve on the medical school’s admissions committee.
Dr. Fairmont subsequently completed a highly competitive five year residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Colorado. During her training she published several peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters related to Otolaryngology.
While Dr. Fairmont’s primary focus is quality comprehensive ENT care, she has particular interests in improving the function and appearance of the nose, head and neck cancers, thyroid cancer, facial skin cancer, surgery for obstructive sleep apnea, throat disorders and in-office procedures, including neuromodulators (i.e. Botox) and facial fillers. Dr. Fairmont prides herself on creating an environment of trust while providing thorough and compassionate ENT care for patients.
Dr. Fairmont resides in Littleton, Colorado with her husband and 2 year-old-son.
