Dr. Manan Shah has practiced Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery for the past eight years. He completed his residency training at the University of Connecticut where he developed an interest in endoscopic sinus surgery for nasal, sinus and allergy issues, as well as endoscopic ear surgery, a cutting-edge, minimally-invasive technique which leads to improved outcomes and faster recovery after ear surgery. Furthermore, Dr. Shah is one of the only surgeons in the area with training in endoscopic ear surgery, making him an invaluable addition to the Colorado Ear, Nose and Throat Group as well as an invaluable resource to patients with disorders of the ear.
In addition, Dr. Shah provides comprehensive care for all Ear, Nose & Throat issues including sinus and allergy care, balance disorders, voice and throat issues, head and neck cancers, and pediatric otolaryngology. He additionally specializes in in-office sinus procedures – reducing patient downtime and costs traditionally associated with sinus surgery.
Dr. Shah serves as President of the Colorado Ear Nose and Throat Society as well as a leading member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. He is also a nationally recognized expert in telemedicine and has continually worked to make care for patients more accessible and convenient.
He lives in the Denver metro area with his wife and three young children. In his free time, he enjoys exploring the mountains on rock-climbing expeditions and going on hikes with his family.
Dr. Sohal is a highly trained ear, nose, and throat (ENT) doctor who specializes in treating sinus problems, sleep-related breathing issues, and thyroid conditions in addition to the full breadth of general Ear, Nose & Throat problems. He joined the Colorado Ear, Nose and Throat Group after years of advanced training with over a decade of experience helping patients breathe, sleep, and feel better.
Dr. Sohal completed his medical training at the University of Connecticut and then pursued additional advanced training in sinus and nasal surgery at the University of Arizona. This included learning the latest minimally invasive techniques for managing both routine and complex sinus conditions, as well as disorders involving the area between the nose and brain (known as the skull base).
In addition to his expertise in sinus care, Dr. Sohal offers surgical treatment options for thyroid diseases and for sleep apnea, including the Inspire implant, an innovative device that helps patients breathe better during sleep without the need for a CPAP machine. He also provides comprehensive care for head and neck tumors,hearing and balance issues, voice and throat concerns, and ENT conditions in children.
Dr. Sohal is known for his thoughtful, personalized approach to care. He takes the time to understand each patient’s symptoms and goals, and works closely with other specialists when needed to ensure the best outcomes. His commitment to using the latest tools and research—combined with a focus on patient comfort—helps his patients feel confident and cared for at every step.
Dr. Isabel Fairmont is the newest addition to the Colorado Ear, Nose and Throat Group. Dr. Fairmont completed her undergraduate education in Biology at the College of Charleston, where she also competed in Division I NCAA Track & Field. She went on to work for a non-profit organization supporting patients with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) prior to completing a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences at Tufts University in Boston, MA. She received her medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina where she was also inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and chosen to serve on the medical school’s admissions committee.
Dr. Fairmont subsequently completed a highly competitive five-year residency program in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. During her training she published several peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters related to Otolaryngology.
While Dr. Fairmont’s primary focus is quality comprehensive ENT care, she has particular interests in improving the function and appearance of the nose, head and neck cancers, thyroid cancer, facial skin cancer, surgery for obstructive sleep apnea, throat disorders and in-office procedures, including neuromodulators (i.e. Botox) and treatments for chronic rhinitis. Dr. Fairmont prides herself on creating an environment of trust while providing thorough and compassionate ENT care for her patients.
Dr. Fairmont serves on the Board of Directors for Doctors Care, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to improving health access for low-income individuals in the South Metro Denver area. Dr. Fairmont resides in Littleton, Colorado with her husband and two children.
Erin has been a resident of Colorado for over 25 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Colorado Denver and earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Rocky Vista University. Her clinical background includes four years as a Certified Nursing Assistant on a cardiac unit and two years as a telemetry technician.
In addition to her professional training, Erin has been actively involved in community service, volunteering with organizations such as Craig Hospital, the Crisis Text Line, and Art from Ashes. Erin resides in Lakewood, Colorado, with her husband and their cat. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, playing music, and painting landscapes.
